Gift Basket Drawing to benefit Ballard High School Performing Arts

This year's Gift Basket Drawing will benefit the Ballard High School Performing Arts Program. The Booster Club, an amazing group of dedicated parents, raises money to support Ballard's award winning performing arts.

Our Gift Basket will be assembled soon. Check back for a list of unique hand-crafted items along with a photo. In the meantime, you can donate online below to enter the drawing

Suggested donation for tickets to the chance drawing: $3.00 for 1 ticket, $5.00 for 2 tickets, $10.00 for 5 tickets, $20.00 for 12 tickets.

The Music and Drama Programs serve nearly 600 students who participate in two concert bands, three concert choirs, two orchestras, percussion ensemble, two jazz bands, one jazz choir, marching band, multiple chamber ensembles and three extra-curricular plays and musicals each season.

Because the Music and Drama programs receive no financial assistance from the district or school budgets, the Boosters work with students and faculty to fundraise over $50,000 annually. These funds cover the cost of instruments, sheet music, uniforms, accompanying and coaching, festival fees, transportation, and scholarships for students in need.

You can check out the BPABC website to learn more and see upcoming concert dates. http://www.ballardperformingarts.org/<

Concerts and productions continue to amaze audiences with the high caliber of talent; come see for yourself what these incredible teachers and students can do!

Gift basket drawing tickets will also be available in the Lobby outside the Earl Kelly Performing Arts Center beginning this Thursday with the Opening Night of the Fall Play: Eurydice and at the Upcoming Fall Concerts (Choir 10/28, Orchestra 11/3 & Band 11/5).

2015 Open House-Save the Dates!

The 7th annual Holiday Open House is scheduled for Sat. Nov. 21st and Sun. Nov. 22nd.

Preparations are underway to make this the best year yet with two full days of festivities. We will once again enjoy the guitar music of John Hanske during part of each day. Vendors are being curated right now and as always there will be delicious food, wine, tea and a fun environment for socializing, browsing and shopping. Mark your calendar, tell your friends; we hope you can join us this year!
